New Festival Quarter
The Catholic Church of St Joseph and St Mary in Poplar, London, wanted to celebrate key tenets of their faith in a sculpture in the church garden. Since the community is now multi-faith, Nicolas Moreton designed “A Door of Hope” which embraces common themes from Islam and Christianity as a unifying symbol of faith in a sensitive garden designed by Murdoch Wickham Landscape Architects
